What Is a Donor Advised Fund?
A donor advised fund (DAF) is a charitable giving program that allows you to combine the most favorable tax benefits with the flexibility to support Love for the Least. DAFs allow you to give cash, stock and other assets to a sponsoring organization and receive a tax deduction. You can then recommend how much and how often money is granted to Love for the Least over time.
You can also create a lasting legacy by naming Love for the Least the beneficiary of the entire account or a percentage of the fund. With a percentage, you can create a family legacy of giving by naming your loved ones as your successor to continue recommending distributions from the fund.
How does it work?
Follow these simple steps:
- Determine the amount of your recommended donation to Love for the Least.
- Select your sponsoring organization from the drop down list below and log in to your sponsoring organization’s website to complete your gift.
